The rooms were super clean and comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi bathtub! This stay was cozy and well-placed near the city center.

I absolutely loved the breakfast overlooking the river. it was truly a highlight of my stay! The comfortable outdoor seating area by the river provided the perfect spot to unwind. The staff went above and beyond, drying my raincoat after a downpour while I was exploring.

I recently spent 2 nights in a Single Room at Shandon Bells Guest House. The bed felt quite comfortable, which was a relief after long days exploring Cork. The garden terrace beside the river offered a picturesque spot to unwind. I enjoyed the hot breakfast options, although the selection for a continental breakfast was lacking. Parking a few doors down was convenient, but access was quite tricky, and the tight driveway was stressful to navigate. The bathroom was very cramped, leaving little room to maneuver. I found it difficult to shower without bumping into the walls. Wi-Fi was slow, making it hard to catch up on work. Overall, it had its highlights, but the small spaces and parking situation could be improved.

The stay was enjoyable with a comfortable single room, clean bathroom, and modern fixtures. The breakfast offered a plentiful and varied menu, served in a lovely conservatory overlooking the river, which enhanced the experience. Staff were exceptionally helpful, allowing me to leave my bags for a few hours after check-out. The location was ideal, just a short walk from Cork city center and near the University.

The TV connection was problematic, and I missed having a news station available.

What a delightful stay! The breakfast was freshly made and offered plenty of tasty options, and the comfortable room had a beautiful view of the river. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby Blarney Castle, with its lovely gardens, which was a hit with the kids.

For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities nearby.
